Stella Joyce Machado is the proud Proprietrix of Stella Studio, a renowned photography business based in Bengaluru that has been serving the community for 66 years. With a Masters Degree in Commerce, a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management, and certifications in Photography, Videography, and Small Business Management, Stella’s journey in the photography industry began 36 years ago after the sudden passing of her father, Late Mr. Amrith Raj. Stella, who had been trained by her father from a young age, took over the business and raised her family while managing the studio. With 44 years of experience, she has witnessed the evolution of photography, transitioning from analog to digital equipment.
Under her leadership, Stella Studio has not only excelled in photography but also offers services such as photocopying, laminations, and courier services. The studio has received numerous awards and accolades, including the Chaya Ratna Award from the Karnataka Photographers & Videographers Association and the Social Influencer Award for community engagement. Stella is also a Council Member for the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI) and has contributed greatly to the Karnataka Women Photographers Welfare Association (KWPWA).
Her dedication to social causes and her passion for photography have earned her various recognitions, and she continues to inspire many through her workshops and community engagements.
