No, and we say this openly. GLGA is not a university and does not award academic degrees, diplomas or state-licensed vocational qualifications. We are an industry credentialing body: our programmes are avocational and passion-driven in nature, designed for personal enrichment, skill recognition, confidence and visibility.
Think of a GLGA credential the way you would think of an industry certification: it recognises real-life expertise you have already demonstrated, rather than classroom study. This honest positioning is stated on every certificate and page we publish.
GLGA was founded to empower women globally, and women remain at the heart of everything we do. That said, our certification and recognition programmes are open to everyone, regardless of gender.
A few platforms, such as the Grace Ladies Global Club and the She is Global Awards, are exclusively for women. The academy as a whole welcomes anyone who shares its mission.
GLGA was founded and is led by Prof. Dr. Sona Pandey (h.c.), President and Founder. She holds an M.Sc., B.Sc. and B.Ed., is a GIS Specialist and a former ISRO Project Researcher, and works as a Certified Business Consultant.
She began the Grace Ladies movement in Singapore in 2009 and has guided it into a global academy and community. You can read her story on the About President page.
The 3P System is GLGA's guiding framework: Passion, Personality, Profit. First, you identify and sharpen the skill you genuinely love. Next, you build a confident personal and professional identity around it, supported by recognition, community and visibility. Finally, you are guided toward income opportunities in that skill.
We phrase the third P carefully on purpose: guided toward income, driven by her effort. GLGA opens doors and builds credibility; the results come from your own work.
GLGA is registered in North Carolina, USA, and operates 100% online, so applicants from any country are welcome. Our community currently spans more than 11 countries across Asia, Africa, the Americas and beyond, with active ambassadors in several regions.
The Professional Expertise Certification is the flagship credential of our Global Professional School. It formally recognises the real-life expertise you have built in your passionate skill, across 40+ non-academic streams covering creative, wellness, home-based and professional passion areas.

The Global Business School supports women who want to turn a passionate skill into self-employment. It focuses on practical, non-academic learning for passion-led businesses: positioning your skill, building your identity and taking your first confident steps as an entrepreneur.

No, and we will never claim otherwise. A GLGA credential builds recognition, confidence and visibility around your skill, and many members have used that foundation to grow clients, students and passion-led businesses. But income always depends on your own effort, consistency and market.
Our promise is simple and honest: guided toward income, driven by her effort. We give you the platform, the credential and the community; the results are yours to earn, and yours to own.
The GLGA Honorary Doctorate is a non-academic honour (honoris causa) that celebrates outstanding real-world achievement in a passionate skill, profession or service to society. It is conferred in recognition of what you have already accomplished; it is not earned through coursework or study, and it is not an academic degree.

Applicants must be 18 or older, hold a graduate qualification in any stream, and show at least two years of demonstrated experience in their passionate field. You do not need any formal education in the field itself: the honour recognises real-life contribution, not classroom credentials in that skill.
Every application is reviewed individually against our recognition criteria before any conferment is confirmed.
Yes, you may use the title "Dr.", provided you always attach "Honorary", "h.c." or "(H.C.)" to it, for example: Dr. Jane Doe (h.c.). This makes clear that the title is an honour, not an earned academic doctorate such as a PhD or MD.
Please also respect the norms and laws on titles in the country where you use it, and never present the honour as an academic qualification.
Complete the Honorary Doctorate application form with details of your journey, achievements and chosen stream. Review typically takes 10 to 15 days. As part of the process you also publish one paper in your passionate skill on the Grace Ladies website, with guidelines provided.
On approval you receive your original digital certificate by email, along with a professional poster and badge for your profiles. Printing and framing are done at your end.
GLGA confers honorary doctorates across more than 40 streams, spanning creative arts, wellness, education, social service, entrepreneurship and many other fields of passion and contribution.

The original soft copy costs US$ 550, with processing in 10 to 15 days. You receive your official digital certificate by email, plus a professional poster and badge for your social profiles. Printed hard copies are not provided; you print and frame your certificate yourself.
Honorees also receive free membership of the Grace Ladies Global Club (for women), discounts on GLGA self-employment courses, and recognition as GLGA alumni. Any current discount codes are published on the Honorary Doctorate page.
Yes, one paper is compulsory. Every honoree publishes one paper in their passionate skill on the Grace Ladies website, and full guidelines are provided after you apply. It is a way of sharing your knowledge with the community and putting your expertise on record.
Our Expertise Certifications also include an online paper submission as part of the application.
Yes. You may receive multiple honorary doctorates, but not in the same field, and you may hold multiple Expertise Certificates provided each application is for a different stream. Many members build recognition across two or three related skills over time.
Yes. GLGA is registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State, USA, as a Business College (Registration No. C202216400994-1). Our quality standards are independently recognised:
To be transparent: these are quality and industry recognitions. GLGA does not claim, and does not need, academic accreditation, because we do not award academic degrees.
Global Accreditation is a separate GLGA programme that accredits professionals, trainers, entrepreneurs, corporates and educational organisations across five accreditation types. Applicants should be 18 or older, hold a graduate degree in any discipline and have at least six months of relevant experience.
Accreditation is offered on annual, three-year, five-year and lifetime packages, with the current fee shown on the accreditation page. The process is fully online and typically completes in about 5 days: submit the online application, email your documents, and receive your certificate and badge on approval. GLGA credentials are industry-style recognitions, so the weight they carry varies by employer, client and country, exactly as it does for other industry certifications. They are strongest when presented alongside your real work: your portfolio, your results and your story.
In practice, members use them to build trust with clients and students, strengthen LinkedIn and business profiles, and stand out in passion-led fields where formal credentials rarely exist. We encourage you to present them honestly, as honours and expertise recognitions, which is where their real power lies.
Employers, clients or institutions can verify any GLGA certificate, accreditation or honorary title by writing to administration@thegraceladies.com with the holder's full name and stream. Our team confirms authentic credentials directly.
GLGA issues digital certificates, delivered to your email in print-ready quality, so you can print and frame them yourself anywhere in the world. If you would like a physical hard-copy kit, it can be arranged on request at an additional cost.
No. GLGA recognition is non-academic by design, so it cannot be converted into academic credit, submitted to credential evaluation services, counted in points-based immigration systems, or used for university admission or government academic requirements.
Where it does work for you is professional visibility: your CV, LinkedIn, business profile, proposals and client-facing materials.
No. Expertise Certificates and Honorary Doctorates are one-time recognitions with no renewal requirement or recurring fee. The one exception is Global Accreditation, which runs on the package term you choose (annual, three-year, five-year or lifetime) and remains valid for that term.
Everything happens online. Choose your programme, open its application form and submit your details; our team then guides you through review, payment and certification by email. The main forms:

Published processing windows: the Honorary Doctorate takes 10 to 15 days once your complete application is received, and Global Accreditation takes about 5 days after documents and payment are in. For Expertise Certifications, our team confirms your timeline by email once your application arrives.

The She is Global Awards are GLGA's international awards honouring women whose achievements, in any field of passion, deserve a global stage. Editions are held regularly, celebrating winners from across our worldwide community.

The Grace Ladies Global Book of Records documents remarkable, verifiable achievements, with a special focus on women. If you have set a record in your skill or field, you can apply to have it reviewed and officially registered.
Registration, publication and the e-award certificate cost US$ 97 for an individual record, with reduced per-person rates for group records (US$ 51 each for groups of 2 to 5, US$ 41 each for groups of 6 to 12). Women and girls of all ages, from any country, can apply.

The Global Writers Forum is GLGA's platform for women who write. Members share and publish their write-ups on the GLGA platform, gain visibility for their voice and connect with fellow writers across countries.

The Grace Ladies Global Club is our members' community for women, connecting honorees, certificate holders and awardees across 11+ countries. Membership is free for women recognised by GLGA, including honorary doctorate recipients.

Yes. GLGA partners with colleges, universities and organisations to bring passion-skill certification drives, training programmes such as Global Visibility: AI, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and the Passion Project to their students, with a focus on institutions serving women.

Passionate individuals can grow with GLGA as a global ambassador, regional coordinator, content contributor, evaluator or mentor, depending on expertise and alignment with our mission.
