Dr. A. Carole Grace Mbarga – A Global Humanitarian Champion for Social Justice
Dr. A. Carole Grace Mbarga, a renowned humanitarian and global leader, is driven by a lifelong passion for social justice that was ignited by her experiences growing up in Cameroon, where she witnessed extreme poverty, inequality, and systemic injustices. As an African immigrant woman in the USA, she overcame numerous challenges, including cultural adjustments, language barriers, and xenophobia, which further strengthened her resolve to advocate for marginalized communities. Her work focuses on tackling complex issues such as human trafficking, domestic violence, and human rights violations, empowering vulnerable populations worldwide.
Dr. Mbarga has received multiple prestigious awards, including the 2024 US Congress Excellence in Community Service Award and the 2023 US President’s Lifetime Achievement Award. She holds several honorary doctorates and serves as a United Nations Global Peace Ambassador.
