Dr. Rita Madanlal Shetiya is a distinguished academician, journalist, and social leader with an extensive career spanning over two decades. She serves as an Assistant Professor at Modern College, Pune, where she teaches Economics and Journalism, and contributes as a Committee Member for Paper Checking and Paper Setting at Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth and Bharati Vidyapeeth. Dr. Shetiya is the Founder of Ritaa India Foundation and has been a Peace Ambassador (UK & India) since 2011. She holds prestigious positions such as Ambassador and Global Inspirational Leader of Grace Ladies Global Academy (GLGA), USA/Singapore, and President of the Global Educators Forum, Pune (2023-2025).
Dr. Shetiya is actively involved with Lila Poonawalla Foundation as an Associate and Selection Committee Member of the “Tomorrow Together” School Project. She is also a Member of All India Journalist Association and has contributed over 100 editorial articles in leading publications such as Sakal, MATA, and Loksatta. Her accolades include numerous awards for her contributions to education, journalism, and social causes, including the Peace Ambassador Award (London, 2011), Leading Lady Award (2016), and Global Women Icon Award (2022). Dr. Shetiya has authored several books and conducted over 70+ training programs across various institutions on financial literacy, leadership, and personality development.
