Recipients are permitted to use the title “Dr.” before their name, provided it is clearly accompanied by the designation “Honorary,” “h.c.,” or “H.C.” to distinguish its non-academic nature.

To be considered for an honorary degree, individuals must meet specific criteria, and there are various degrees they may be awarded. Recipients do not earn these degrees through academic achievements but rather through generous or altruistic actions and lifetime accomplishments that benefit a community, nation, or humanity.
Each organization that confers honorary degrees establishes its own criteria for acceptance. Recipients may receive multiple honorary certificates or degrees, but not in the same field. They are not required to complete academic education in the area for which they receive an honorary degree. These certificates/degrees are awarded based on the candidates’ real-life experiences and contributions through their passionate skills.
Recipients of honorary degrees may use the title of ‘Doctor’ with “h.c.” (honoris causa) to signify the honor bestowed upon them.
ELIGIBILITY:
An honorary doctorate will be awarded to a person from Grace Ladies Global Academy, who has achieved acknowledged a valuable experience or work in a particular field. He/She achieved expertise in that area of work. An honorary doctorate recognizes the extraordinary and lasting distinction. Nominees need not have been educated in their expertise field. The minimum qualification is a Graduate in any stream with minimum two-year experience in her passionate expert field.
CRITERIA TO APPLY:
While many colleges and universities provide their own strict criteria for honorary candidates, at GLGA an honorary degree may only be given to a person with valuable lifetime achievement with his/her passionate skill.
The academy requires the honoree to complete the following steps to complete:
The Honorary Award Committee reviews applications for the type of honorary doctorate degree being awarded. Candidates are required to submit a completed application form with all necessary details.
If the application is approved, the candidate will receive an approval email containing instructions for preparing the paper and making the payment.
After the candidate submits the paper, it undergoes a review process, which typically takes 4-5 days.
The Honorary Award Committee evaluates all documentation and the paper before presenting it to the academy president. Accepted honorees are notified by email, and the degrees are conferred digitally.
